High five!
The glacier ski resort joined forces with four other ski resorts for an unparalleled winter sports experience. Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberg, Penken/Mayrhofen and Ahorn/Mayrhofen form the Ziller Valley’s most snow-sure ski area: the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000.
Skiing in all seasons
It might sound like something out of a fairy tale, but it’s true: At the Hintertux Glacier , you can go skiing all year round. However, just like the seasons change, so do the snow conditions. Winter is the peak season for skiing and snowboarding, offering conditions that cater to everyone – from beginners and families to thrill-seekers. Spring skiing brings its own joys, attracting those who enjoy a mix of ample sunshine and ski runs that start off crisp in the morning and get softer as the day goes by.
The idea of winter sports during summer might seem odd, but in Hintertux, it’s a cherished tradition. Depending on the day’s weather, you can find yourself gliding down slopes that are either soft or firm, under sunny skies or in cooler temperatures. And as autumn paints the valley in shades of gold and red, the higher elevations boast crisp slopes, challenging snow conditions and clear skies.
