Skiing in Flims-Laax-Falera

More about the ski resort

“Slope, powder or snow park?” That’s a frequent question in the ski resort of Laax. Another one is: “Snow kindergarten, ski school or snow wonderland?”

Freestylers from all over Europe regularly flock to the snow parks surrounding the Curnius lift. For instance, there’s Curnius Park with a total slope length of 1,000 meters and 25 obstacles. Or NoName Park with the world’s biggest halfpipe.

Families with kids love the resort’s three snow wonderlands. Beginners can fine-tune their technique on the easy slopes of Falera, while advanced skiers enjoy the sunny descents around the “Nagens” and “Mutta Rodunda” lifts. If you want to put your fitness to the test, we recommend the 13-kilometre La Siala run.

Pssst: Flims-Laax-Falera also offers plenty of opportunities for snowshoeing and sledging!

INTERSPORT Rent tip

Our RENTertainers recommend

The ski resort of Laax is also popular with pro skiers and snowboarders looking for a challenge. For instance, the 17-kilometre descent from 3,018-metre Vorab Glacier down to Flims is a highlight for every avid winter sports athlete.

If you’re looking for an even more challenging run, we recommend the run at the rear of the glacier (slope No. 35) down to Alp Ruschein or the “Fatschas” FIS run (No. 65).

Our tip: Safety first! Drop by at INTERSPORT Rent and rent the perfect equipment for your next ride – especially if you’re planning a more challenging route!
