The Bad Kleinkirchheim ski resort lies in the heart of the Carinthian Nockberge between 1,100 and 2,055 metres above sea level. Gentle mountain ridges, the so-called "Nocken", shape the landscape. Two striking peaks, the Kaiserburg and the Brunnachhöhe, frame the valley. First-class skiing fun awaits you on 34 wide runs with a total of over 100 kilometres of slopes. One magical place for all skiers is the "Scharte". Several slopes merge here in a valley basin. From the challenging "Radentheiner Streif" to wide carving slopes, there’s something here to suit every skier.

Cross-country skiing, tobogganing & snowshoeing
Anyone who wants a change from skiing or snowboarding can also enjoy the glistening white winter wonderland on snowshoe hikes. The Nockberge with their gently curving mountain ranges are ideal for snowshoe hikes.
The snowshoe tour to Brunnachhöhe at almost 2,000 metres above sea level is highly recommended. The starting point is the upper station of the Biosphärenparkbahn Brunnach. From there you walk through the snow-covered landscape on the ridge of the Nockberge towards Brunnachgatter.
Cross-country skiing in Bad Kleinkirchheim means endurance training and experiencing nature in one. 10.5 kilometres of perfectly groomed trails (both classic and skating) make cross-country skiing a real treat.

At the Bobo Kinder-Club there’s a magic carpet, skills training and shows for young skiers. Fun is of course always the top priority. The "Kidsslope" next to the Sonnleiten lift is ideal for beginners. Fun obstacles, waves and curves await young racers.
The whole family can experience a roller coaster feeling on the "Kaiserburg Bob" right next to the Kaiserburgbahn bottom station. And the view over the snow-covered winter wonderland is included! When you have really exhausted yourself on the ski slopes, you can recharge your batteries in one of the two thermal baths directly in Bad Kleinkirchheim.

Of course, the former ski racer will also reveal one or two tips to perfect your carving turn. After the skiing fun, you have breakfast together on the mountain with regional delicacies.
Our insider tip: On the "Gourmet in the Snow" guided snowshoe hike you hike through the winter landscape on snowshoes to the Klammerhütte, where culinary delights await you: mulled cider, cheese from their own production and typical specialities such as Carinthian Frigga and Carinthian Reindling. Fortified, you then return to the valley on a toboggan.
